Scope of work : To manage all the AM Repair and Overhaul shop’s technical aspects and Method Engineering aspects i.e process, documentation, design and fabrication. The shops comprise of Valves & PSV, Machining, Fabrication, Rotating and, Mechanical seal shops.
Requirements for references, experiences (qualification/ technical skills/ experience):
- An engineering diploma or minimum 10 years methods engineering (Manifacturing & Maintenance Repair & Overhaul – MRO) experience in a similar environment or advenced
- 15 to 20 years pf experience of method engineering of industrial process in manifacture, repair and overhaul facilities
- Experienced in materials machinability and Thermal Special processes
- Extensive industrial part maintenance experience along with sound machining, fabricating & assembly practices knowledge
- Strong familiarity with industrial assets and maintenance best practices in equipment repair and overhaul facilities & equipment
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English, French and Malagasy is an advantage
- Excellent technical planning and troubleshooting skills
- Sound work ethics

Scope of work :
- Set-up a strategy to improve rehabilitation and maintenance of non-rotative equipment (chutes, hopper, dust collector, conveyor…)
- Implement a routine and corrective maintenance programme including spare parts inventory management
- Coordinate with operation the availabity of the assets for maintenance
- Develop rehabilitation and maintenance scopes of work for tendering
- Ensure proper planning & scheduling for rehabilitation and maintenance programme
- Coordinate contractors during execution works by monitoring and controlling their performance
- Comfortable in coordinating and supervising multiple maintenance project
- Set-up KPIs to monitor the progess of the project
Duration : 18 months
Requirements for references, experiences (Qualification/ Technical Skills/ Experience) :
- A minimum of 10 years of mechanical project managment
- Mechanical engineering degree
- Good understanding of construction operations and processes
- Experience in operations in developing countries is an asset
- Strong organizational and time managment skills
- Familiarity with CAD Software with strong ability to ready and interpret construction drawings
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to use MS Project

Background :
During the period of the Total Plant Shutdown (TPSD) – approximately 1st to 25th November 2022, the TPSD Area Lifting Supervisors are required to work on a rotating 4/4/4 shift basis during the TPSD, controlling, supervising & ensuring on-time, safe practices are undertaken at all times for all Lifting & Rigging Operations in their specified area.
The TPSD is a time-critical operation, delays caused for any reason are not acceptable, therefore Supervisionof all activities must be absolutely first class in every area.
Objectives :
- The Candidate must be highly experienced, and be a fully qualified Lift Supervisor or Lift Coordinator to Supervise routine, standard & critical lifts while following the direct instructions of the R & L General Supervisor.
- They will be responsible for all crane R & L activities, and all HME (Heavy Mechanical Equipment) within their specified area, ensuring all work is carried out to a strict schedule, while in strict compliance with approved site safety operating procedures, practices and standards.
- Highlights and escalates all issues & failures in procedures, and escalates ALL non-adherence of any safety breaches to the Department Superintendent.
- Escalate to the General Supervisor – and take immediate action on any possible delays – before they occur, and escalates as necessary to the GS or Superintendent
- Attends & contributes to dispatch planning meetings, & ensures attendance at one of the twice daily Shift TPSD meetings applicable to their shift.
- Must make themselves aware of, understand and comply with the EnerGS FPS.70, Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Policies and associated documentation provided.
- Must be fully experienced in safe work permitting procedures, accountabilities etc.
